Gossip got the best out of me today; as usual, after going through alot of blogs, liking, commenting and following, I decided to chat up a friend, she was really excited, and joyful, (she’s like this most of the time but today was different), so I couldn’t wait to hear what made her happy. I like this particular friend because her blog lightens my spirit up, so I’m always eager to listen to her and support her in anyway possibly. So I got what I was looking for. She had just finished working on her post titled “and we bagged the #Liebster award”, I was happy for her until this happened…
After a whole night of encouraging and preparing her mentally from the tension of having to write on Leibster award, she turns around and puts me on that same pressure, Whyyyy!!!… But being the angel that she is gave me courage to put this down. Love you dear. Please do visit her blog cliquetalk, she can turn your frowns upside down. So with that being said let’s jump into it
Aim and Objectives Liebster Award:
The Liebster Award is a blogger award for new bloggers and those with few or small followers. It’s an amazing way of giving new bloggers an opportunity to gain some recognition and encouragement for their hard works.
Rules of The Liebster Award:
- Create a new blog with the graphic of the ward thanking the person that nominated you, link to their blog.
- Create a set of questions for your nominees to answer.
- Nominate 10 bloggers and share your blog post with them so they can accept their awards.
CLIQUETALK’S QUESTIONS AND MY ANSWERS.
- What inspires you to write?
Love, and the fact that it is being misunderstood; I’ve been writing for almost 10 years now, but having my writing on a blog happened a couple of months ago. Ever since I decided to start writing, I stuck to the paradox of dualism, having to balance life with a little love despite the hate around us, because I grew up in an environment filled with people who always try to blame others for their mistakes “sounds familiar?” Good. This had eaten me up so much I wanted to tear up from head to toe, but the day I told this to my book, I felt relieved, because I knew one day wether I’m dead or alive people will come to hear this stories (books don’t fabricate stories, only humans do). So I’m inspired by the fact that Love will surely overcome hate, but it wouldn’t if I keep quiet, so I’ll preach love till my departure on earth, because nothing inspires me more
2. What is your greatest fear as a blogger?
My readers misinterpriting my message; i have tried so many times to put humor in my writing, because like every other person I agree with the fact that one cheek filled with laughter a day keeps the doctor at arms length. Experience has taught me how humor to one person might be offensive to another, so I fear if my message of Love don’t get across to people because of misinterpretation, after all we write to communicate, if there isn’t any connection with your audience due to lack of communication then what’s the point of writing
3. Where do you see yourself 5years from now in the blogosphere community?
This is really hard to answer, because with people like cliquetalk I don’t stand a chance 😀 … Well In 5 years I see my blog teaching more people how to love their community, and how to give back these knowledge by being the change they seek. One can escape failure working without a plan, but working without priority is the mother of all failures. To preach one needs an audience, and when I do get enough audience I will coach them to get more audience because we need love to reign among humanity.
4. Do you have writer’s block? If yes, how do you conquer it?
I haven’t faced this type of problem before, so No, but I do believe I will come up with a way to conquer it when the time eventually comes
5. How supportive are friends and family to you in this path you have chosen?
Friends are supportive, some bought me books and pens when I decided to go full time into talking about things that concern the heart, my parents think I’m lazy, (our culture respects man power to intellectual power, they see writing as weakness), and family in general 90% have no idea what I’m doing, but here we are so far. I tend to see all this traits as their own special way of supporting my movement, because all of this in one way or the other brought me here.
And that is it.
I hereby nominate;
- Candid Chicana
- Johnson Aboge
- Harry Caulfield
- Rehema Zuberi
My questions are;
- What inspires you to write?
- What is your greatest fear as a blogger?
- Where do you see yourself 5years from now in the blogosphere community.
- Have you ever had to choose between blogging and another profession, if yes, what was your choice, and how did you feel after the decision?
- How supportive are friends and family to you in this path you have chosen?
1 FACT ABOUT ME.
I love people’s progress, because I believe together we can overcome, but if we aren’t successful individually, it will be hard to succeed as a group. I love Team movement.
I really want to thank cliquetalk for an opportunity of a life time. She has given me a platform to express my inner party, although she is in trouble. I have to tell the readers the reason I fell in love with cliquetalk, the blog is straight down to earth, it has the right words to trigger my joy, and humor is the center theme of the blog fully, my favorite write up is I was betrayed, first of all the featured image is hilarious, also the topic itself is hilarious, well it doesn’t sound so, till you dive into the body and decide to understand its content, and believe me when I say it is a master piece. I will always love her work because of its ingenuity, she is original, and original is always a pass (distinction) for me.
I want to say a big thank you to Cressida and The Global Aussie for giving bloggers like us an opportunity to be known by the bloggers community, and finally to the most influential person in my life, Baba God, I’m grateful.
Stay blessed everyone and have a wonderful weekend. :*
